U19 European Final

To make the European Under 19 Final was the goal and anything after was just a bonus.

The final took place at Zarnovica, Slovakia on the 400m purpose built track and stadium. Practice went well earlier on in the day then it was time for the races to start.

A last place in the first one, then a second place in the next, things looked like they were back on track.

But, then two more lasts followed but Jason managed to finish with a 3rd to end on 3 points which meant overall he was joint 14th.

Which looking back now is actually quite a good achievement in Jason’s first go in the competition at only 16 so plenty more years to go.
